I have been looking for a purse that I might like as my own. My other purses that I make either sit on my craft table waiting for a home, or I send them out to my friends and family. Well this time I decided to make this my own! I got this fabric from my MIL (she has tons of fabric! but mostly smaller pieces) and I love it. I had just enough to make a small body for the bag and the lining. I found a belt from one of my boys that had been worn through and cut it for the handle. I do have to say the handle is a bit heavy for the weight of the purse, but it is growing on me. I then made some fabric flowers one out of each type of fabric and a great vintage button for the closure! I'm really likin' it!
